Who a Walk-In Tub Is For
Walk-in tubs are for people who still want to soak but find it hard or risky to step over a tub wall and lower themselves to the floor of the tub. You open the door, step over a low threshold, sit on a seat at chair height, close the door and fill the tub.
If you don't need to sit and soak, a low-threshold walk-in shower may be the simpler choice. We'll talk through both at your free consultation.
How Install Day Works
We measure your space at the consultation and order a tub that fits the opening. On install day the crew protects your floors, removes the old tub, checks the floor and walls behind it, sets the new tub, connects the plumbing and finishes the walls around it. Some models need a dedicated electrical circuit; if yours does, we'll tell you up front.
How long does it take to fill and drain?
You sit inside while the tub fills and drains, so it takes longer than a standard bath. Fill and drain times vary by model; we'll go over them for the tubs we show you.
Will a walk-in tub fit where my current tub is?
Most walk-in tubs are made to fit a standard tub alcove. We measure your space at the consultation and only recommend a model that fits.
Walk-in tub or walk-in shower?
If you want to sit and soak, a walk-in tub. If you mostly shower, a low-threshold walk-in shower is simpler and faster to get in and out of. We'll show you both.
Do you offer financing?
